Tax Information
Contributions or gifts to the AAO are not deductible as charitable contributions for U.S. federal income tax purposes. However, dues and assessments may be deductible as a business expense to the extent allowed based upon the tax consequences of AAO lobbying efforts. The AAO estimates that 10.96% of members’ national dues are not deductible for U.S. federal income tax purposes because of the AAO’s lobbying activities on behalf of our members and specialty.
California Association of Orthodontists (CAO) Members
$10 per member collected will be contributed to the California Association of Orthodontists (CAO) Political Action Committee (PAC). To opt out, please email [email protected].
